For over 25 years, UEN has hosted a student leadership conference.  Focused on high school girls, and using the teachings of St. Angela Merici, the conference interfaces UEN directly with students to enhance their leadership skills and illustrates the valuable role of each student in the Ursuline sisterhood. 

Using instruction drawn from Saint Angela Merici’s teachings, students use self awareness, education, and advocacy as Angela counseled her Company of Women, to Be as Ministers and Servants. Over three days, students participate in informational sessions and activities to help develop time management, planning and problem solving skills.  Featured at our 2025 Conference was the Jean Frazier Leadership Institute of Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, KY and Mary-Cabrini Durkin, author of several books on the spirituality and leadership of St. Angela Merici
